Jen Metcalfe, LCSW

Jen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Synergetic Play Therapist. She earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work from The University of Louisville.

Jen has worked in many different roles including: school-based outpatient therapist, school social worker, child and family caseworker, and as an advocate for children and families experiencing domestic violence.

Jen is passionate about working with children and families who have experienced trauma using a integrative play therapy approach. She is devoted to serving children struggling with anxiety, behavioral challenges and self-esteem issues. Jen believes in the healing powers of mindfulness, body awareness and authenticity. She values collaborative team work—partnering with parents, caregivers and other service providers.
